The QTIBPOC night you know and love is returning to the Yard for a Halloween bash with even more gorgeous DJs, performers, and stalls! You can expect henna, nails, tunes, and performances from 10 til 3 on the 1st of November so get your tickets quick before they sell out! In honour of Roblox’s Dress to Impress minigame, we will also have a runway for people to show off their cultural garments and the winner will get free tickets to the next Bledi event!
Non-QTIBPOC allies are welcomed and encouraged to pay for the higher entry fee. Reminder that this is a space prioritising QTIBPOC, be aware of the space you are taking. We will be allocating a number of tickets for people who are low income (priority will be given to refugees and people who are seeking asylum), please email blediparty@gmail.com to arrange this.
Bledi is The Queer SWANA Art Space, a dedicated collective and night out centring QTIBPOC (Queer, Trans/Non-Binary, and/or Intersex, Black people and People of Colour) from the SWANA region (South West Asia/North Africa - commonly referred to as 'the Middle East'). Bledi (Arabic for ‘My Homeland’) has created a space for SWANA Queers to celebrate our lives and showcase our talents, as underrepresented artists of typically marginalised backgrounds.
